You can fly to Vasa both from Helsinki and Stockholm, several flights a day from both cities. There is also a ferry from Umeå. Tickets are still available to Vasa, but the situation in Hki?? Not many left, or are they holding them til tomorrow.Or perhaps opening up more sections..

Hopefully they only released a number of tickets for pre-sale and have some left for the regular sales, otherwise it would be quite an impressive sale and very disappointing for a lot of people.

Oh dang, that's the site that didn't let me book in 2014. Not going to plan with Copenhangen then this year either, tho it was only a last resort if some other places don't work out. Will try for Östersund instead if my other plans fail.

You can take the flights Helsinki-Vasa too, there are several flights a day, costs about 80 euros

Thanks, I'd definitely have to fly since I'd be coming on the Saturday morning and a 5 hour train ride might be cutting it a bit close depending on the available flights, train times etc. Good to know, although I guess I've missed the pre-sale by now anyway.

I'm hoping for the Copenhagen show along with the Stockholm show. But we'll see. I'll take wherever's left if I have to, and work out the awkward travelling/time off work later if it comes to that!

because:

1) It has the lyrics

Och det var då som nu
till sist och för alltid

2) Because it would be a neat piece of narration by them - and they like neat narratives.

3) Because the sound of the song, the sweep and the airiness, fits what I think they're going for with this album

We here in the Estonian community have come up with a video for kent's last single. Somewhere in the dank basement of a Soviet apartment building, in the light of a 40 watt bulb, on a taburet stool, a man in green rubber boots (played by me) listens to their supposed "last" single. The supposed "last" single plays on an old Philips bookshelf stereo in the corner, covered in paint drips from some long-abandoned home improvement project. We can't really hear if it's "good" or not - does it matter anyway? - because the man in rubber boots is drinking "Viru Valge" vodka and swearing over the music in estonian:

"Rootsi asshoulid!" (Swedish assholes!)
"Kuradi asshoulid!" (God damn assholes!)
"Fuck it..." (Fuck it...)
"Kuidas ma nüüd peaksin...?" (How am I supposed to now...?)

We never see the man. We only see the 40 w light bulb, the paint-covered Philips bookshelf stereo, the green rubber boots and the bottle of "Viru Valge" vodka. The man presses stop before the last instrumental, shuffles off camera, then comes back and presses play from the beginning.

So that means.... The band will stop? Kent will go RIP? Have I read this right?

My reason why I got so nosy about their news to search the internet for a while to find my access here again because I had nightmares for some weeks that the band appeared in them and would fade away and I would never see them again, so I felt the urge to go check online if this was a sign.

Are the tickets for Stockholm sold out yet, I bet?

I'm crying now... That's terrible... This video with all the old reference really sounds like it's the end and that cross. I must wake up, that can't be true.
My biggest fear now if to be TOO late to attend a show.
Please somebody help me!

Yes, unfortunately the next album will be the last and the next tour will be the final one as well.

There a few concerts that are not sold out yet, Kiruna and the show on the on the 13th November in Malmö, for example, and Stavanger in Norway, and afaik the extra concert in Oslo is not sold out either. Or if you have a specific show in mind, you can still buy tickets second hand here on the forum, tho probably not to the last concert in Stockholm (and Örebro was not easy to get tickets to as well), but the rest shouldn't be too difficult to find tickets to.

I've been a fan since 2006 (I am a late starter, but I was a broke teen before with limited internet access so I had no real opportunity to discover kent), and I'm from Hungary.

The rule is that you can only sell for the original price or lower, so you won't find overpriced tickets here. However, I don't think there is much chance of anyone selling tickets for the 17th December, the 16th is more likely.

I have bought all e-tickets first hand (due to the cost of delivery and my distrust of local post services), the exception is the 17/12 where a Swedish friend bought the tickets for us, and he chose delivery by post instead (we trust the Swedish post more). I have bought e-tickets from other people to Linköping and Örebro. Linköping I bought on the forum and I trust the seller 100%. I bought Örebro somewhere else, but the seller seemed honest and he took off the ad after I bought his tickets and since it was a very short time span between him posting it and me buying, the chance of him double dealing is very low.

Unfortunately there are crazy prices for the last concert, there is really not much to do about it.

After all, I remain confident about the shows being possible to attend whatever happens, there was no show on earth where it was impossible to get in, even some guestlist shows were a possibility. Just keeping the fingers crossed, and I'll see them again one last time (err I want 3 shows at least )

I've decided to change things up this time. I'm not listening to the single, unless it has a video - then I can see some point, otherwise I'll just be creating an uncomfortable dent in my first couple of listens. It never goes too. I still feel Ingenting is a single, especially Töntarna. I want the album to be a whole and Egoist not being on there gave me the chance to experiment.

It isn't too hard, but there's still some temptation and... oh gosh, 22 or so days to go.

Was kinda hoping for something a bit more dark. Think they got the type of sound right on the last album, the right mix/balance. THis song's pretty catchy but has a bit of a synthpop sound going. The synths sound much better on songs like Berlin, Vid Din Sida, Tontarna, Berred Pa Allt, etc when they're darker or a bit more rock. It's a good overall, just don't think I'd place it on my kent best-of or anything.

Good way to describe it, intro is good then the chorus is a bit more happy. Good talent by them to be able to mix emotions on one song.
