Hello everybody,

This is in english because my swedish is too basic to be clear enough on this.
May the moderator send me a PM if this thread doesn't seem appropriate with a clue on what I'm about to point out.

Kent is a great band, a fabulous band. Kent is famous and loved.
Kent is also loved by people all around the world that will come for the tour.
Kent is successful as well and announced this tour will be the last, so the tour is SOLD OUT.

Now the thing is that 10% or less of the tickets sold/bought are real cardboard/paper tickets and all the other are e-biljetter.

This thread is to discuss and try to find a solution for everybody to feel comfortable selling and buying e-tickets.
Why? The original ticket price is a price, and if the ticket is invalid or fake, everything is lost and no entrace is possible.
If you travel from France on your own (pointing me on this one but some people will come from the US, Korea etc) and don't have a ticket, how can we except to get some sleep or peace knowing our second hand e-ticket could be fake? Travelling from France or Stockholm surburbs is the same problem in the end.

So the debate on this would be to find solutions so sellers can be trusted and buyers in confidence so when the market starts in a few months like "can't go anymore" etc tickets will be on sale, it'll happen, it always happens.

>How does a e-ticket work really? If it's a double and you get in first, will it work? ID required? Required to be with the original buyer?

Any ideas are welcome since it's a major issue nowadays that wasn't existing a few years ago, we bought second hand tickets and that's it. We need to find a way to make it easy, why not try it now?

Hi Maddy!

The tickets are personal and marked with the buyer's name, so in principle the venue may check if you are the person whose name is on the ticket, and if you are not they may take your ticket without any refund. This should be quite unlikely though. I have never heard anyone say it has happened to them.

To be sure you should enter in the company of the ticket buyer.

I have mentionned this name restriction to the girl that sold me a ticket tonight, and she didn't know about it and suggested a copy of her ID+autorization as she won't be in town when the show will be on.
So I went on the help pages from Ticketmaster.No and tried to understand something and finally typed "billeter navn" (name ticket) and it found only one result saying the following :

Noen kjøper billetter til seg selv og andre i samme bestilling. Navnet til den som bestiller og betaler med kort vil da komme på billetten. Dette har ingen betydning for inngang til arrangementet.
Which means that the tickets could be bought by you or for friends, the name on the e-ticket has no impact for getting in... Dunno if that is about e-tickets only.

Yup, including the tickets you print at home that show your name. Just hand them the tickets and they'll get in no problem.

You can also look for a Transfer button on your order in My Account to see if Ticket Transfer is available.

Ticket transfert from the site's account to account could be a good alternative for warranty of it being real!

It's written on the international Ticketmaster help center, so that should apply on that compagny
