What do you think off Colombus . is it a good choice.

It is. After Ingenting the most immediate track on TTS.

Not my second fav after Ingenting, but it does have that strong chorus and single length and such. I think it'll be decent on the charts, only thing I'd change would be the instruments to make it sound like it was from Hjarta & Smarta instead of using the synths.

I was expecting Berlin to be the next single but I guess they wanted a slower song after Ingenting. Columbus was one of the songs that initially jumped out at me on the first few listens to the album though so I think it's still a good choice. I hope the b-side's good.

German amazon lists the single as import only. I wonder if there will be a German release again?

According to the info I have the copys of Ingenting and TTS released in Germany was also imports of the Swedish issues (imported by Red Ink tough and not by individual stores).

They were officially released in Germany. However, they may not have been manufactured there...

In my opinion, Colombus is a perfect choice. The only 2 other potential singles are Berlin and Generation Ex.

In concert, Colombus is great and very very popular with the audience and the fans.

I'm 95% sure that Berlin will be the third single.

But you all know like me that the Kent singles are not always the best songs on Kent albums...

It doesn't matter if it's the fav with the fans, it matters about promotion, if they have an idea for a vid and if it's instantly likeable after a radio listen.

I'd say Vid Din Sida was the most instantly likeable but Colombus is great after a bunch of listens.

Promotion is about selling albums, the reason why we pick a song as a single is to promote the album and increase sales of the album. The reason why Kent did a small tour before a 30 dates big spring tour was to test the new material. I truly doubt they will pick a song that is not popular in concert. If it is popular in concert, it will be on the radio. This album if very different from what they have recorded so far. It is normal to see which songs the real fans will like in concert.

Vi din sida is a good song but has no potential and is not a key song on the album.

I have been to 3 concerts in Stockholm so I know what I am talking about.

So by saying that it doesn't matter if the fans like the song or not, it is, in my very own opinion, WRONG!

I think it's the best possibile choice. It shows to the people who didn't listen to TTS that the record is not only made by stuff like Ingenting. And probably its chorus is the strongest of all the songs in the record.

Våga Vara Rädd (4)
Ensammast I Sverige (3)

Today the time has come and Somnen and Våga Vara Rädd got 5 stars
Ensammast is an interesting song which if had a climax would get an easy 5
Columbus is a 4 no matter what
