I am really surprised that there are so many people who like germany.
In fact we have some nice places around (Berlin isn't - but that's my opinion) and we also have this very popular 'Deutsche Ordnung' (as mentioned above) ;-), BUT germany has a LOT of dark sides. And I'm not talking about the past history, but rather the political situation, parts in our social system and other things.
*nevertheless I'm hoping to get kent back in stage here*
Sorry for writing english here, my swedish is not that good yet.

Well, Sweden is very from as perfect as some
foreigners (many germans) seem to think.
I definitely prefer Germany.
Nicer cities, people, clubs, restaurants,
architecture, etc. and much bigger (Almost ten times)
and more interesting with so
much to do and see.
Since you´re from Bonn I can understand
that you´re not too fond of Berlin who
robbed you from your status as
capital...

hehe
No, that's not the fact why I don't like Berlin ;-) But a good second option. Thanks, I have to remember that. hihi
Honestly, I prefer sweden too - though we have some better medical care system (for expamle payment for dentist done by insurances and so).
Anyway sweden is bigger than germany, but we have more inhabitants than sweden. The state where I live (Nordrhein-Westfalen) has as much as complete scandinavia ;-) And yes, our clubs are open until 5am or longer but I refute the claim that german people are nicer / friendlier. That is definatley NOT true.
But I guess it's always the same. You want what you don't have. So swedish people prefer other countries, and others prefer sweden.

Of course Sweden is bigger surface wise but
Germany has so many more cities and I´ve
had so much fun down there meeting
some really cool and nice people.
Sweden can be great too though.
In the summer it can be fantastic with
the archipelago and all its islands.
But nothing beats cities like Berlin,
Hamburg, München, Frankfurt,
Lübeck, etc.

You can hardly recommend a trip to Bonn? This actually means that you have a hard time recommending it.
I understand what you really mean though. I just thought I'd point out that it's better to say "I can strongly recommend my city for a holiday trip". Otherwise people might not go to Bonn.
Låt dom komma nu
Actually both Cologne and Bonn is nothing compared to the great
beautiful classic architecture of München and Hamburg and that
of Berlin around Gedarmenmarkt and the supermodern
skyscraper structures in Frankfurt and around
the stunning Potsdamer Platz in Berlin.
Bonn is nice and rich but quite a small town.
Köln is quite big (fourth biggest in Germany) but I
prefer the other bigger ones that I mentioned.
Then you have absolutely gorgeous smaller cities
like Aachen, Lübeck, Schwerin, Regensburg,
Freiburg, Heidelberg, Baden Baden and of
course the rebuilt pearl of Dresden.
Germany is soooo underrated!
