News from the homepage says that the kent book by Jan Gradvall will be released in March. From a look at some bookshops, the price seems to be around 190kr. No mention of how many pages it has.

History knows no conjunctive!
The book is due to be released this month, and since I have heard very little about it, I thought I'd have a look around the internet and it seems the release of the book has been delayed until august 2010.

it's been postponed till august cos they are going to release an english version? *thinking positive*
Ok, I want that book!
Btw, first time here on forum, Hi everyone
ahhhh, well a quick update if no one has spotted this on the swedish forum: (a quick translation...)
Henrik (the webmaster of kent.nu and this forum) had a quick chat with the author Jan Gradvall via twitter: "I wondering when your kent book will be released. March 2010 was what you said at one time...what has happened?
His reply: The horror, the horror. Still writing. Perhaps it will come before Christmas or early 2011.
*sigh*
This book had better be good...(I mean, I know it will, but the waiting is killing me...)
ps- acpf00- it's a bit late, but welcome to the forum!

Library here has it on order and I hear they had a note from the publisher saying it'll be out late next year... so I am not wildly full of hope for Christmas, I have to say. ETA: though I see there's discussion around that on the swedish forums also, with relation to listed dates on CDON and such. Still... seriously, I'll believe in this book when I see it, I think!

I'm starting to think I should remove the happy smiley in the thread title and change it for the teary-eyed smiley instead...
One of the plans I had for the summer trip to Stockholm was to buy the book, (I got to buy the EPIS cd instead) but I now regret not having another look in some shops for the unofficial book. How are you coming along with that, too-ticki?
Just had a quick look at Jan Gradvall's twitter page...less twittering and more kent please!

Seriously. This thing is beginning to feel rather mythical. The publication of the official kent book; the return of king arthur. Possibly scheduled for the same day.
I'm almost done reading the unofficial book now (I read too many books at once! it takes a while to finish anything!) - I still think it's giving me a better sense of how things developed with them than anything else I've looked at, basically, so on that front I really recommend it to anyone who can get hold of it. For chronology and for how they and their music have been talked about at different times it's good and gives a really clear sense. Basically I like the way it's been edited together.
Still really want to get my hands on the official book though...
And the myth continues....
Jan Gradvall has tweeted with some comments on the kent book:
The new title for the Kent-book coming early 2011: "Vi ska alla en gång dö."
and
And just to remind myself that the book finally starts to become clear. The first sentence of chapter one: "Sami knows what he must do."

This should be good... I'll certainly be interested in reading more. I have the unofficial one (in Swedish of course) and haven't ever read through it all. I probably should pick it up to help refresh and further my understanding of the language!
