Although I realize that it's a lot tougher to make money in the music biz these days, I still don't agree with all extra revenue options.

Why do you post Google ads on the forum site? Do all members know that you get paid US$ .01 to 1.00 every time a visitor clicks on one of the ads?

Although I noticed this action right at the start of the new forum (the old one also had some less obnoxious ads), the current "Remit 2 India" ad just pissed me off enough to publish this.

To cover a part of the costs for the site.

But if you send me $1000 a month, I can reduce the amount of ads. If you send me $3000 I can remove all ads.

The yearly cost for the vBulletin software and the server hosting didn't seem to exceed EUR 300 per year.

Since you can influence the type of ads displayed I hope that they will be more closely related to the site.

The point with AdSense is that ads are supposed to be related to the content.
