I love the new song Tick Tack.

It doesn't matter if it's the fav with the fans, it matters about promotion, if they have an idea for a vid and if it's instantly likeable after a radio listen.

I'd say Vid Din Sida was the most instantly likeable but Colombus is great after a bunch of listens.

Vid Din Sida took a long time for me to really love.
But Columbus was one of the songs which got printed in my brain instantly.
So we disagree on that point.
I think Columbus is the best promotion choice.
More people will be interested in the new album.

Its a bit like Min värld but not as hard.. its an uptempo methodic beat with some twists. Its realy good.

I don't agree. "Min Värld" should have been on the album. It's immediate and really rocks. I think it's too fast for the current live set. "Tick Tack" sounds like a B side. It's like a limp version of "M." However, I really love the two remixes!

Yeah, I feel the same way about Vid Din Sida, I like the slow descending part a lot, and the lyrics are just mindboggling. So now it's one of my favorites on TTS.

Sportfreunde has a good point about the promotability of the single also, and for that reason I think Ingenting was a predictable choice. It sounds very pop-like and I took to it right away. But, in the end, it isn't a song I can listen to over and over again, because of those same characteristics; and the fact that the lyrics aren't that provoking either. Columbus definitely has more staying power though and might have, in the long run, better promoted their album, not to mention that it also might have helped Kent win the fucking Swedish Pop Cup. Sorry for the language....

Good thing I can't understand Swedish then. I have no idea what they're saying and love it so it doesn't get boring cos of the lyrics.

I like Min Varld better than Tic Tack. I've listened to the song 5 times at least and it's not memorable, still can't remember how it goes, very b-sidey although I thought the same thing about Min Varld in the first few days. C'mon youtube, get the music vid up. Heck, right now, even Solmen sounds good enough to be a single lol.

Just got the Columbus single

I have to say that the Columbus remix is interesting
I love remixes who dont ruin the song
For me one of the best (if not the best) mixes ever is The Killers - Mr Brightside Jacques Lu Cont's Thin White Duke Remix
Full lyrics - dance music - slightly slower singing

Hard dance remixes which have some samples of the original songs dont thrill me.
The Vid Din Sida remix has the Na nana lalalalalala as the song which is good and the other nice part is the lyrics whith the fluctuated volume
I belive that it would have been better if it had parts of the Morgondagens fester ....
lyrics in it.

I only listened to Tick Tack twice and a first comment is that it is not
better than Min Värld for sure.
Nice song though which can be a grower and become a favorite

It's just a single, you dun have to think anything. It's more of a collector's item than something that strives for quality.

I buy the single because I like the music, not as a collector. And I sure would like to like what I'm listening to.

Hmmm... don't have the single yet, always takes a while to get it over here. Columbus, Berlin, and Generation Ex were the album tracks that stood out to me the most after the first listens. I think Columbus is a great choice, but Generation Ex is probably my favorite track on the new album. Vy Från Ett Luftslott is up there as well, and I really like LSD, Någon? Hell, the whole album is fantastic really, gets better every time I listen.

It's also nice that my Swedish has improved enough to follow songs without having to sit there with the Swedish lyrics and a translation... helps enjoy the album even more! :-)
