Weird Kent coincidences

I seem to remember we had a thread like this at the old forum where people posted any Kent coincidences in their lives. Thought I'd resurrect it after the gig in Västerås where my cloakroom ticket was number 0747 I asked the lady where I should go to collect my prize but sadly she didn't get it!

I ALWAYS look at the clock when it's 7:47. It's weird. I just happen to look at the time and it's 7:47!

Timekill To Die For played I think 3 times on my mp3 player today on the way back from uni...on a playlist that has 500 something songs and only around 30 kent songs...weird.

apparently the beat intro thingy from Ingenting is taken from Club Dance Beat 007 in Apple Garageband (don't ask me what that is) if you youtube "Apple Garageband loop same as in song "Ingenting" by Kent".

Just at work editing some copy for BBC Radio 4 – the world’s best speech station – and they have a new comedy called Nebulous, which follows the adventures of KENT in their struggle against alien threat and ecological disaster. Sadly here KENT stands for the Key Environmental Non-Judgemental Taskforce, but it got me thinking – what if it was actually a new comedy about the adventures of our very own Kent in their struggle against noise threat and musical disaster? Could go something like this:

Scene: Kent’s studio. Enter Sami:
Sami: Hi chaps! Sorry I’m late. Oh! I see Jocke’s not here yet. [Points to figure in corner] But what’s Simon Cowell doing here?
Jocke: [For it is he] Guys! It’s me, Jocke! I’m disguised as Simon Cowell for my plot to once and for all destroy the evil that is Pop Idol! I just need him out of the way so I can take his place on tonight’s programme…
Scene: Corridors of TV studio. Hilarious slapstick ensues as Sami, Martin and Markus chase the real Simon Cowell before bundling him into a handy laundry basket which they lock in a remote cupboard.
Scene: TV studio. Pop Idol is under way. One group is mangling a cover of Columbus so badly Jocke (on the panel in his Simon Cowell disguise) can bear it no longer. Jumping up, he runs towards the band.
Jocke: Aaaargh!! You’re murdering my lovely song! For that you too must die!
Pulling out a comedy-sized axe from his shirt he proceeds to lay waste to band, set, equipment etc.
Later, back in the PsychBunker:
Martin: I thought that went rather well actually.
Markus: Yes, there’ll be no more Pop Idol ever again.
Sami: Hurrah! Our quest to rid the world of musical mediocrity gathers pace!
Jocke: Now, anyone know where James Blunt lives..?
