The Best Kent Song So Far

argh, it's impossible to choose!! i eventually went for Romeo Återvänder Ensam but only because it's a personal favourite... okay maybe i should've gone for MIDVH... or 747... no! Socker!
seriously, there is no one best kent song!

It's very difficult to choose just one, but Den döda vinkeln is one of the best.

The results are very important for me. On one hand, there's curiosity. On the other hand, I'm very interested in what song to play to a non-Kent fan in order to convert her. Mind you, I've been very successful in the past... Another aspect is the opportunity to vote directly versus forum postings. Not too long ago, all English speaking members on the old forum agreed on Socker as the best Kent song ever...

Nah, doesn't work out like that. Ingenting's one of my favourite kent songs but I had to listen to it like 5 times to like it even a bit. Sverige and December probably took the longest to grow on me, it's about which ones are instantly likeable. FF and Dom Andra take a while too. So the first kent song I heard that I liked right away was Karleken Vantar, and Music Non Stop. And asides from those, I'd say go for Bianca, 10 Minuter, maybe Socker, 747, Sundance Kid definetely, Vy Fran Ett Luftslott, and maybe Vid Din Sida. Oh and Om Du Var Har, I loved that song after like 1 listen, don't like it as much now.

^ Manned I Den Vita Hatten's winning and it's one of their best songs I agree but it's really complex, long, changes and it takes a while to like a song like that so I wouldn't use that one or any ballady ones.

But again, threre's a lot of favorites when it gets to kent.

As a newcomer to Kent I dont know all songs (that will improve with time when I get all CDs). But from what Ive heard so far Columbus seems to be my favourite

My favorite ones are Parlor, Dom Som Forsvann, Palace & Main and Just Like Money. I guess I'll vote for Palace & Main as it is the only one of those up there...

Its really a shoot-out between Nålens Öga and Dom Andra...right behind Musik Non-Stop. Out of close to 4000 songs on my iTunes, 17 of the top 25 most played are Kent and Musik Non Stop is the unrivialed number one.

You could argue that MSN is done in a very different style then the rest of their music, and I agree that if I were to intoduce someone to Kent, it wouldn't be the best song to start with because the rest of their work is rather mellow...but it is still genius. *I am refferring to the Swedish version. I was not fond of the English copy they did.

Oh damn and now I just remembered how good Quiet Heart is, too...

I like Nalens Oga but the outro annoys me...it's so long. They could cut that song to less than 5 minutes, I hate long outros unless it's something like 747 or Visslaren.

I like the English version of Music Non Stop more cos I heard it before the Swedish oen so the English one sounds more natural. I think Den Doda Vilkeln is the most overrated one, never really liked it too much, Du Ar Anga was bettwe on that album, oh and Klaparen...sounds very Coldplayish, should've been a single.

I really like "The King Is Dead" but I don't really like the lyrics...think they're a bit daft to be honest lol. But the tune is mega.
