I just checked it out... so far, so good! Can't wait for the album... can't freaking wait.
"Love is watching someone die.
So who's going to watch you die?"
It hasn't been confirmed by either Åhlens or Kents official sites but several members of the forum have recived confirmations from Åhléns stores in Sweden that they will be selling "Tillbaka till samtiden" this friday 12/10.
I think it's true but we'll have to wait and see.

I got shipping confirmation for my CD today from Sweden, just have to wait a few more days!
The album has leaked now...listening to it now and I didn't like the first track that much! :|
Nice of the band to dress up in tuxedos for the album's release!
I'm listening to it too. Heard it only twice today, any more would be overkill, I put it on my mp3 player though so I'll listen to it on the bus rides to university. And this is the first review I guess. Anyways, Tillbaka Till Samtiden is DEFINETELY a good album. It's too early to say exactly how good but that doubt that a lot of you are having doesn't need to be there. The electro rock sound is there but it's very melancholy and there's some trumpeting thrown in too but not the jazz sort like in 'Stop Me June' (what's that song about anyways? I really like the lyrics in English). I've liked everything about it so far except the last song (+8 minutes) isn't as good as some of kent's last other album enders and not as explosive as Mannen I Den Vita Hatten but it's still good and I'll like it eventually. Somnen actually does sound like Gummiband except without the crappy knife slicing noises. And the first track is great I'd say, I've heard it twice but I like it. Don't let the whole electro thing put you off, judge it for yourself without other's opinions. Kent always change and we always like it. Screw the comparisons to Depeche Mode, they made it sound light and electro rock at the same time. It might be their most consistent work since HH I'd say.
Let's just make a pact not to judge it until we've heard it at least 5 times.
For the first time ever today, I've done a lab assignment with a smile on my face cos I was listening to Tillbaka. Kent are my favourite band again, finally.
They look ridiculous with their hair, they must do it for the lulz.

Here's a slideshow to the song Vin Din Sida, one of the new songs off the album, to give you a little preview of the album. Btw, I don't think it's illegal to post a link to it cos it's just a youtube video and it doesn't say anything in the rules about youtube videos.
Also for those of you lucky enough to understand Swedish, here's a kent interview, it mentions the forum, feel free to translate ;-)

"Elefanter" is quite adventurous, isn`t it. Not a really strong first time hitter though, like 400 Slag. But Kent have a way of making important songs (singles, openers, opening one-two.threes) lush and interesting, with lots to listen to. Same thing going on here. I`d really love to see the lyrics to this. Musically it`s somewhat of a garden of sounds and juxtapositions. A riddle really: I`m sure the reason to why this is the opener will come to me soon, but right now I can`t see it. But the first half, the quiet one with the Vangelis-like saxophone imitation should get you right away.
But hey! Does "Columbus" open well or what? The first REALLY heavy and brilliant song off tillbaka for me. OK. I`m gonna`go and listen to it instead of typing about it.
i dig the galloping fanfare on Elefanter. it reminds me of Muse's "Knights of Cydonia" a little bit.
but yeah, the intro of Colombus definitely stands out. synthtastic.
LSD, Någon? sticks out to me with the weird, fast 80's vibe
overall, i think it's a lot like radiohead's new album. less diversity, slightly calmer vibe.
It does sound like Knights of Cydnonia. I like it more than 400 Slag though, that song kinda got boring towards the end. By the way, every song on this album is at least 4 minutes. I've listened to it a couple more times now but having problems deciding which song I like best after Ingenting. I didn't like Colombus first but that song has a really strong chorus, something from Hagnesta Hill in terms of singing, it was kinda in my head during my lectures this morning. The album does have diversity with voicing but not so much with the instrumentals. I don't like those thumping percussions in the last song, it would've been better with just a soft light sound with Jocke singing.
It's gonna take a while to like cos of the instrumentals but probably their best overall work since Hagnesta Hill.
I see they removed the link to the song Vi Din Sida on youtube, my bad, won't do it again. I just don't see the problem of posting something on youtube though, it's more of a promotion for people to listen to the song and then buy the album. It's a really good song too except Jocke going 'Laa naaa laaa etc' is kinda annoying.
Radiohead fans would love this album if they ever heard it. Thing is that some of them get frustrated with the recent stuff Radiohead has made because the singing and vocals aren't as pure and it sound too 'ambiguous,' sort of like Sigur Ros but not as good. Kent have done a better job than Radiohead, they have a pop/rock sound to go with whatever else is there.

I'd have to agree that Ingenting is my favorite track. Kinda sucks when you hear a single like that before the album, and then it turns out to be your favorite on the album.
Oh well.
I'd say this album has a pretty dark, lounge feel. Definitely not much in the way of acoustic sound except on Våga Vara Rädd, and the whole thing is full of sharp electric guitars, synths, and downstroke beats. It's not a dance sound or a chillout sound, kinda somewhere in between, but with a rock foundation, of course.
Nothing really jumps out as the next single, I'd have to say.
The harmony on Generation Ex is pretty cool though
