I know, it's a nice country with nice people. We will enjoy ourselves the three weeks we will be in Sweden.

Actually, we might have had snow here too, it came pooring down during the last couple of days but only it was to warm so we had to settle for rain .

I wrote a birthday-card for my sister some years ago.. It started with "Rakas ..."

And my name was given a ending "-itta".. Funny how you conjugate even names (as in czech republic) Luckily my name is impossible to conjungate in czech!

Allright, just curious. But the weather could affect your grades if it were to give you a headache. Some people get a headache if it's too warm.

hehe I've always wanted powers like that!

Its a holiday here in Canada and Daniel & I were planning on heading to the beach for an afternoon in the sun. Well, it rained - but we went anyway! It was overcast and very cold, and there was still huge chunks of ice in the water... we pretended to be French tourists to the couple we met who were out jogging - we did the prefect accents, chattered away en francais to eachother and they were very enthralled with our berets!

Afterwards we went to visit my father at his cabin nearby and fell asleep on the couch in the sun that was spotting through the clouds...I was so cold after I woke up - sleeping in the sun with a whisper-thin Ukrainian boy on top of you as a blanket is so warm - its very hard to match that.

Mmm...happy day.

I'm not a big fan of Victoria Day. I don't mind the day off, that's great. I just don't like how we still celebrate the fuckin Queen...not really an independent country though are we.

And that new family day, starting in Ontario and spreading to the rest of Canada eventually , they didn't pick it now and at that date as a coincidence. They picked that date cos the US has a holiday, bank holiday I think at the same time. If you're going to merge three countries, you need their merge their systems and economies too...
