The Scorpions - The Best Is Yet To Come
Eric Saade - Manboy
After Sweden's "Schlagerfiaskot" yesterday at the Eurovision Song Contest (Anna Bergendahl's "This Is My Life" didn't make it past the semifinal) a lot of Swedes probably wish this song would be representing them in Oslo.
Unfortunately, he only came third at the Melodifestivalen. Nonetheless, he has been leading the Swedish charts since then.
That's shocking. As someone living in Sweden, I can only recommend people NOT to listen to that song. It's enough with everyone here being killed with such a meaningless, silly, annoying song. Let everyone else be free
(only kidding but nah, really not something I would recommend to anyone)
eurovision doesn't seem to offer great music for years. to me it's more about entertaining than music thingy but dunno about this year's.
and kent themselves dont like this big show either as i remembered?
anyways songs you must hear currently i would recommend rasmus kellerman's new album.
Lena - Satellite
Lena won, and most Scandinavians liked her song. Eric Saade presented the Swedish vote which gave her 12 points.
Quite an amazing outcome if you look at the last German performances. I knew something good was coming when I watched the German qualification starting in February. Stefan Raab is a genius!
P.S. I really like Rasmus Kellerman's album. Somewhat unique, a solo artist (Tiger Lou) releasing a solo album...
The More Assured - All In Your Head
Lena Malmborg - Berlin
The Low Anthem - Boeing 737
Carl Norén - Going Out Tonight
Radiohead - Give Up The Ghost
Sounds like Jocke on vocals! Sounded so familiar that I thought Thom Yorke was singing in Swedish at first...
Dennis Hopper Choppers - All That I Once Thought
In-Flight Safety - Model Homes
Dido - Take my hand
