I don't like videos because they restrict your imagination. The best example is Karleken Vaentar. Before I saw that video I had quite different images in my head about what the song meant. Luckily, I did as well after I forgot the geared for fourteen year olds video images.

What really sucks is how record companies restrict freedom. If an artist releases a song or an album in Sweden, a fan from anywhere in the world should not be prohibited from purchasing it. F**k zoning.

Same situation with concert tix. If a fan wants to come to Sweden to see his favorite band, don't insert artificial obstacles to prevent him or her from doing so...

See I don't have a problem with that because most videos (not just Kent) have absolutely no connection to the song. I always have a different version in my head anyway.

BTW, the Kärleken Väntar video disturbs me. Something about two kids going at it that makes me uneasy. Also, I just saw the video for New Order's Krafty the other day:

Dude. I deleted my videos.. like what 2 weeks ago? And I'm STILL GETTING messages from YouTube saying they IDed a match for infringement. HAhahahahahahha... Talk about a slow ass system they have going on there.

Those 2 videos are very alike! Even taking the chewing gum out of her mouth. And the end of the New Order video reminds me of the Swedish film Lilya 4 Ever when they are dancing on the roof!

Yeah, the Karleken Vantar video is awful, most kent videos are bleh. There are some bands that always turn out decent videos though, like Travis or Blur, maybe Idlewild and F.Ferdinand.

Lilja-4-Ever is a sad movie, Russian, I sorta liked it but really depressing.

He claims that the budget for Kärleken väntar became smaller than expected, so he couldn't make the video he wanted.
That's why used the same concept for the New Order video.
