Lately I have found myself looking at the forum posts which offer Tele2Arena's tickets for sale.. Man, I'm so jealous for anyone who's going.

Just read the Wikipedia page for the Tele2 Arena: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tele2_Arena. This phrase struck me as a special form of Swedish humor: "The official inauguration will take place on 24 August 2013, featuring Swedish artists Robyn, Lars Winnerbäck and Kent, but the first concert at Tele2 Arena will already have taken place on 27 July 2013, with Swedish band Gyllene Tider performing." On a less positive note, there seem to be some sick soccer supporters in the area... Nonetheless, I'm still glad I'm going!

Yeah, I had noticed that the inaugration concert wasn't actually the first event at the stadium!

Looks like Stockholm wants to host the Eurovision Song Contest again soon. The roof of this modern stadium is closed. Hard to imagime soccer matches here at the moment. Luckily, I didn't wear my Ribery shirt, I would've felt completely out of place. Robyn put on great show. I just love seeing her perform. This was the first time I saw her outside of Berlin. Lars Winnerbäck reminds me too much of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Can't wait untill 22:10, the moment Kent come onstage. My red Front of Stage ribbon is ready...

The long lines for alcoholic beverages really suck.

One hour and we got it all. Well most of it anyway. The only "surprise" was first encore "Ingen Kunde Röra Oss." The sound during first song "999" was abysmal, but it improved rapidly.

Arena management still has some organising to do. The largest of three bars closed before 22:00. It seems they ran out of drinks. Water was provided on the floor. However the cups ran out. Free wifi is great as is the transportation infrastructure of the entire globen complex.

"Vi tänkte försöka oss på en sång som vi inte spelat förut. Den handlar om en av mina barndomskompisar ganska mycket. Vi brukade åka hem till honom och kolla på tv för han fick MTV mycket tidigare. Det handlar om vad som händer mellan dem som försvinner. Den heter Ingen kunde röra oss."

My translation:
"We thought we'd play a song that we haven't played before. It's about one of my childhood friends. We used to go home to him and watch tv because he got MTV much earlier. It's about what happens between those who disappear. It's called Ingen kunde röra oss."


Before Mannen i den vita hatten:
"Vi har egentligen inte tid. Men vi spelar en låt till, eller hur? Det var lite chockande att börja repa igen, vi har varit lediga ganska länge. Men det är också väldigt kul. My translation:

Thanks utomjording, I haven't had any time this week to look for videos for the chat to try and translate it for Jukke.

Jukke- I noticed a few comments on twitter about the poor sound. In the pictures I saw, the stadium looked huge and the stage was massive.
What was the 'front of stage' ribbon? Were you in a special 'golden circle area' or similar?
