Hopefully the songs will be available soon on the US. I think it would at least feel better if it would state when an album will be available. Nothing worse than looking at something you cannot have.

For me it's almost the same with every new Kent album. First listen: mmm, there are things I like and things I don't. Second listen: ok, i like it all. Third listen: this album is great!
I think we can hear a very hard work made by the band, they went really deep in their musical research, especially on the rythm and on the backing vocals. I think that this is the album with the deepest musical research together with Rod. And the songwriting is one more time amazing, and the songs seem to be perfect for a live set, unfortunately I can't come to Scandinavia for spring/summer, so I hope they are touring again in autumn/winter.

1) 'Rött guld' is the material red gold, though I think in English it's more often called rose gold. It's a metaphor with first silver and then rose gold.
2) 'Går över' should be 'walking over the bridge', not 'gå över' which is in imperative.
3) 'Ingen' is 'no one' or 'nobody'. ('Nothing' would have been 'inget')
4) You forgot a 'never'. Just a type-o I guess, since you got the line right in the rest of the text.
5) I understand this gets tricky because it already says space in English and then 'rymden' in Swedish is space also. But space is space and not the sky, I would argue.

Daniel, have made the amendments you suggested. Back at the first line- since I fixed rött guld to rose gold, this got me thinking about 'svartnat silver', I've put blackened silver which I guess is technically correct, but silver which has turned black we would call 'tarnished' in english. So would 'tarnished silver' work here (keeping in the metal theme), or should I keep blackened silver?

I emailed Amazon about my CD delay (2-4 weeks) and told them I wasn't very pleased and that they had done this before with another import pre-release (another kent album funnily enough). I got back a standard cut & paste email about unexpected fluctuations in supply times affecting delivery, blah, blah.
Good news (for others, I guess since I'm still angry with them) the album is now available for download from Amazon- and the CD (if you order it) will come with auto-rip. (and it should for the £21 they're charging for it)

I'm no expert in metals, but if tarnished is what you call it when silver turns black then I guess it would work fine to translate 'svartnat' to that. But I had no objection to blackened when I read it.

Personally, I would not put "and" in the phrase "Before the sky falls down and you are all I have" and the other corresponding one and simply change it to 'Before the sky falls down, you are all I have' and the other one to 'Before the sky falls down, I am all you have' because the 'and' does not match the significance of that line.
