it.was.magic! I am still in a sort of shock actually... the KB venue is amazing, it's a bar basically, it was an amazing experience.

Is it a bit like a (bigger?) king tuts? (for those who don't know, King tut's wah wah hut is a small bar & music venue is Glasgow and it was where Oasis were discovered. Lots of bands played there before they became big. It's a great little place!)
Would love to see a couple of pics if you have any, Corrado. Did you buy any merch?

It really was amazing, probably the best kent concert I've been to, and that really means something. I really liked KB too, I only knew the place as a bar and this was the first time I went to a concert there. It was incredibly hot in there, but otherwise it was perfect.
My pics aren't good, but here are some anyway:

OOOOOOH! thanks! You were super close to the front. Must've been amazing! Roll on summer!
The stage looks similar to the one at king tut's- small and low down too.

I wasn't that close, I just cheated and zoomed
Different lay out, i would say same capacity but better laid out I didn't get any merch cause I didn't like the quality of the new tees but I managed to get the promo poster for JAIRPM from Stereo Sound in Copenhagen (will soon be framed)
I took a few pictures, they are all on Facebook unfortunately, most of them on the Kent Sweden page
Shhhh, no one will ever need to know, I won't tell them if you don't! Thanks again for the pics
Lucky you on the poster, no doubt that'll look really nice on your wall. I kept eyeing up an EPIS poster in Bengans when I was in Stockholm 2 years ago, never had the guts to ask for it, though! You could upload a couple of photos here, or the fb album link (or pm it to me if you don't want it on here) if you want? I can't see them on kent's fb page since I'm not a member.

Ah, so KB was a little bit bigger, but still 750 is a pretty small venue for a kent gig. My dream would be to see kent play king tuts and all you guys would be in the audience too, cos I don't think just me and Corrado would be much of a crowd! I saw Travis play a concert in king tut's very early in their career. Stood in the front row (next to all the band's families!) and was so close to Fran Healy that I could see the filings in his teeth. The stage is about 30-50cm off the main floor and there were no barriers.

wow lucky you stjärnor! the only show i saw traivs was an arena venue in taiwan (though capacity was not all opened that time). the atmosphere in a travis show is unforgettable, fran's talk and asking for the audience to do the pogo move moment is just brilliant.
also would like to put my photo album link here:

it's not with decent quality but you can have a look anyways. and i have to say even though i didn't attend many kent shows by far, the new album tour is without doubts their best shows to me. stage sound and lightning is just perfect and jocke's singing is so relaxed and has no any flaws. live version of Beredd På Allt and Lät Dom Komma is mind blowing.
btw dunno about capacity of cirkus and lokomotivet. guess both venues might be around 700~800? both stages look higher and the audience at the front row is not that close to the stage if being compared with kb.

thanks! yeah i think the summer tour must be better after seeing the 2 shows this spring. and hopefully they will play Färger på natten, too sad they didn't play this song this time. i didn't take photo with him, still hoping jocke wasn't feeling interrupted though.
the city view i saw from the tower is amazing and just discovered it was the place those postcard photos taken from. really the best location to see the beauty of this city. and yeah those fences at the top are bothering for me as well... still it was a shame i didn't attend the city hall tour this time due to it was under construction with all those fences surrounded.
OK so after a very long and stressful period my friends got their sh*t together and decided that they can make a summer trip.
We just booked flights and hotel for Stockholm and now I have to contact ticnet to see if I can change my Stockholm concert ticket for Uppsala.
Anyone has any previous experience with similar issues?
My Stockholm ticket has the insurance option (which I dont know if it is insurance in case the show is cancelled or if the buyer (me) wants to not use the ticket and get a refund).
It's called Avbeställningsförsäkring 467 1
Now I have to read all these pages up to here and see what happened while I had to keep myself away from this topic.

Thanks very much for the link to the live photos, the merch stall (looked a bit disappointing )& kent shop in Eskilstuna. Looks like you managed to get a few things signed too, lucky you!
I've lost count (actually, forgotten!) of how many Travis gigs I went to. It helped that they come from Glasgow (like me) so there was always a Glasgow date on any tour. I actually first saw them by accident about 5 years before their first album- the city had an event to mark the start of the Christmas shopping season, and I came out of a shopping centre (St Enochs, Corrado will know which one I'm talking about) and there was a band on a stage. I decided to stop and listen for a while, even though it was pouring with rain and I didn't have an umbrella. Ended up standing for 30 minutes, soaked through, but loved what I heard. Kept their name in my head, and a year or so later saw they were playing at an all day concert in the Barrowlands with lots of other small/unknown/unsigned bands. Went along, saw them and bought a t-shirt. A couple of years later, I see they are playing king tuts, so convince 2 college friends that they will love them and must come along- and I wore the t-shirt I had bought at barrowlands, so whilst standing at the front of King Tut's with my friends, a lady taps me on the arm and says "Oh are you a fan, dear? That's Fran's mum". The 2 friends did indeed love them, and we all managed to get invite tickets to their first album release gig/party, where Travis played and then sat down with posters and photos for anyone who wanted them signed! Saw them lots of times after that at various venues around Glasgow and twice at T in the Park festival (where it rained during 'why does it always rain on me' of course!). I was a bit disappointed with their last couple of albums, the songwriting just wasn't as good as the earlier stuff. Travis and Stereophonics will the the music of my student years!
Pity you never got to the city hall tour, it is a lovely building. The top has been fenced in since someone jumped off the top of it . If anyone is going to the August gig, there's also the Kaknästornet (the TV tower) which is out near to where the concert will be held at Sjöhistoriska. The view from up there is amazing (and there's a lift to the top, unlike city hall tower!). There's a cafe and a restaurant too, if you feel like something before the concert!
I'm pleased that you're getting to see kent (hopefully!) and that your friends saw sense! Hopefully something can be sorted at ticnet, I don't have any help with the insurance stuff, though. Do you have a pdf or link the terms & conditions and maybe I or someone else can try and read them?

Oh the Tuts! I saw Franz Ferdinand, Keane and Killers when they first started... The last BIG one I saw was the Manics when they played for the Tuts birthday
As for the pics... if you could show me how to put the link on here I will do it (me and technology are not the best of pals sometimes)
