Hearts 3-1 Kilmarnock, so the Jambos are looking good in 3rd place at the moment, 7 points ahead of both Aberdeen and Dundee Utd, only 2 games left before the league splits. Celtic this weekend though, hmmm.
Hearts 1-1 Celtic, I managed to see the game on-line yesterday and have to admit Hearts probably played the best iv'e seen aginst Celtic in 5 years or so. To go down 1-0 after 25 SECONDS and still fight back as well as they did put a smile on my face.
Both Dundee Utd and Aberdeen won thier games yesterday so the gap is now down to 5 points between them and us in 3rd spot.
C'mon M@rco what happened in the Dutch league this weekend? I haven't seen any results yet.
All the top teams won, meaning AZ is 2 points away from winning the title. That would be the first time since the early 80's (I think it was '82, and it was AZ too that time) that a team not being the regular top 3 (PSV, FEIJENOORD or AJAX) would win the championship. Last time before that was the early 60's when another team won.

Sounds similar to the Scottish league where The Ulgy Sisters from Glasgow (Celtic and Rangers) win it year in year out. Think the last time someone else won the title was Aberdeen, maybe 84/85 season. The 80's had seen Celtic, Aberdeen and Dundee Utd win the title. Hearts lost on 1 goal difference to Celtic in 1986, since then it's been the Uglies that have won it.
It will be Celtic or Rangers again this season, 6 games to go and Celtic on top by 1 point, then a gap of 17 points to Hearts in 3rd spot.
I think it's the same in most countries. Two, maybe three teams winning most of the time, and occasionally another team wins.

The Arsenal are through though and that's all I care about!!
AZ lost at home, so they missed the opportunity to become champions. But Twente lost also, so theoretically only AJAX can draw level on points now.
