The Danish Gaffa is often called 'the Danish Rolling stone', I read somewhere.

Voted now, it's extremely easy and you don't need a personnummer, all you need is an email address. Don't know if they'd send you the prizes if you happened to win any though, but at least you can vote. And the chances of winning anything are tiny anyway

and it's not working for me. nothing happens when I click 'opret brugerprofil' (danish for create user profile) after filling in the form. ah well. does it know I'm not in sweden perhaps?

Maybe, but the website was extremely slow and only half working when I voted. Maybe try again later? Are you sure you filled in the right email address and twice the same password?

Yeah, I have all the details correct (I even tried using a different password), but when I click the button, nothing happens, no new page loads, no error message. I've just tried again, and the same thing. I'll try from home tonight, and see if it's the same thing. maybe their site's just a bit buggy....

I'll post the link again, for those who can register and vote for kent! (and with my luck, if I do manage to register, no doubt it'll be the one time in my life I actually win something!)

also about GAFFA, i've heard the same like koelkast said. and there is one trivial fact about the background pic of the prize page, it was jonas bjerre, the lead vocalist of danish band mew, holding this GAFFA award. he won best male singer last year.

yay, it worked! actually, it didn't work the first time I tried from home, then I decided to change the username to something else, and then it let me go to the next page to say the activation email had been sent to my account. Quick and easy after that.

There's a few other categories (apart from the ones kent are in) and you don't have to vote in all of them, BUT you can only log in and vote once. I was a bit disappointed that kent weren't in the best swedish live act section, so I voted for [ingenting] instead, even though I've never seen them live, but I do have a few of theirs (and Christopher Sanders' other songs) on my mp3 player.

while I'm here, and back on the subject of kent, they didn't win at the MTV awards a couple of days ago (which I'd posted the link to vote a month or so ago).
That wasn't actually news on the kent homepage, I had to go to the mtv site to find that out

the song 'På drift?' that kent wrote for an anti-bullying advert in Sweden in 2008, and was given away free by the band as a christmas present to fans, is available again, for just 24 hours on the homepage at kent.nu.
The song will be available until 11pm Swedish time on the 11th novemeber. If you haven't got it already, this is another chance to download a legal version of the song. (both 128mps and 320mps are available)

Does it say why they are re-releasing "På drift"?

No, just that it was a popular song during the spring tour and many people wondered where you could buy or download it.
It's not a re-release as such (since it was never actually released as a single), more of a 'second chance' to have a copy of the song.
It was only available for a week at kent.nu when they first gave it away.

Edit- also, here is the image that was posted with the song when it was originally given away.
Not actually proper artwork for the song, but I though I'd post it again anyway!

Jocke replied one fan post and it seems Jocke & Martin wrote the music for Jocke's brother, also a well known tv commercials director, Adam Berg's movie directing debut, short film "In"

thanks for doing those recent news translations, I had been meaning to post about them here. (I've not been at the computer much, as I've been doing jury duty in court for the last two weeks).

I had no idea that the ikea 'cats' was one of adam berg's....I love that advert too! (haven't seen the dulux one, I'll need to go find it)

another little news update, kent are nominated in the P3 Guld awards for 'band of the year', but this one is only open to swedish voters, as it requires a personnummer.

anytime stjärnor! wow it sounds cool that you were doing the jury duty! it just sounds like things which happen in a movie :P (the law system in Taiwan has no such jury duty things though)

and yes both videos are adorable, i love the way adam captures the spirit and the moves of the subject he is filing in the video. also the let's colour video just uses perfect music by jonsi. this tv commercial is aired on tv here currently. i am surprised and happy to see it on tv though, it just looks cooler on tv than on my computer. : ]

and yes the berg family are truly talented! really curious how the marvel comic adapted film which will be directed by adam will look like.
