In this topic some people suggest that Max Brandt and Andreas Bovin are being kidnapped by kent for the summer tour.
For those of you who don't know, Max Brandt and Andreas Bovin play guitar and synth at kent's concerts.

There's been a bit of discussion on the Swedish board about the cover for 'En plats...' Jocke responds:
The cover is absolutely not ironic.
It is meant completely seriously.
There is of course a link to Isola which for me is a summer album.
Part of something else which is lost.
Of course irony could be seen in the picture, but it may be the viewer's inability to see something which only 20 years ago was our picture of the paradise we all dreamed of.
Isola was rehersed/recorded during the spring and summer '97 and the studio was situated amongst fields and farms in a warm Belgium.
It also smelled constantly of cow shit outside and the studio was invaded by flies the whole time.
I also remember the summer part of the Isola tour better than the autumn and spring parts.
My connection to the songs on Isola is simply pure summer feelings.
Same thing with Hagnesta, which was also rehersed and recorded during a really warm late spring in Stockholm's inner city and a really warm summer amongst corn fields in Denmark.
But the covers to Isola and Hagnesta are taken in Autumn and gives a really clearpicture of the bittersweet time when everything falls before winter.
There is probably no one else who feels like so, but the songs 747, Oproffesionell, Revolt III & Kevlarsjäl were written in the time just before midsummer, so for me they are accociated with The Big Flower time.
Different years, though.
This time the songs were mostly written during the winter, but released in the summer, so you can perhaps understand the (microscopic) emotional dilemma songwriters have when people left and right begin giving the album epithet which is autumnal/ summery, etc.

A lovely post from Jocke in the Swedish thread 'Which song is best after the first listen' (a vote for En plats...')
I won't vote.
All the songs feel wonderful and mean so much to me, in different ways.
One thing which I find facinating with every release is:
That all the songs on a new album will be liked by someone.
There is never a song which no one likes.
Some will be loved my many, others by a few.
But I am really thankful because every song we release means something to someone.
All songs which end up on a kent album we ourselves love and stand for.
So it is wonderful that none of them end up....outside.
Thanks for that!

Sami Sirviö wishes all of us a great midsummer weekend.
Och jag lämnar inga fotspår ens i sand...

It would be nice to read more from the band in this part of the forum, but I'm happy to still translate when I can.

A few Swedish newspapers seem to got a hold of kent's rider for their summer tour. Some of the things on the list are: 50 kilos of ice cubes, 39 bottles of spirits, 45 bottles of wine and.... black socks!
A response from Jocke:
This of course is a pure lie.
Black socks I have never seen on any rider, but it is possible that someone in the crew needed new socks and put them in an order.
Spirits and wine, we often bring ourselves.
Otherwise, it will never be the correct type, haha.
Perhaps it is 39 bottle of Corona and 45 bottles of Carlsberg, to which they refer to.
But even those numbers don't even seem correct.

i think that black socks joke (gosh i cant help typing jocke here! anyways) become useful items for their tuna gig! just knew from friend there was pouring rain that day in parken zoo. but they played ismael! and m! those 2 songs are exactly worth even though fans have to overcome from the raining!
Forgot to do a translation of this last week...
In the thread for 'Ensam lång väg hem' someone says that Sami's guitar solo is simple but really nice, Jocke responds:
Funny that everyone (journalists also) take it for granted that it is Sami who thought of and played the solo at the end.
It is not.
