I have a question for the OP. Personally, I believe that there are a lot of satanic or sun-worshipping bands in our world like U2. They do have a lot of symbolism. Some of them unknowingly follow this because of other people who influence them like possible handlers. I also think that the illuminati are the ones who will bring forward the antichrist who’s going to be satanic if he does exist right? Music has been used with British invasion bands like the Rolling Stones or Led Zeppelin to separate a generation from another with drugs, booze, etc. Both of those bands were heavily influenced by the infamous occulstist Aleisteir Crowley (he supposedly came up with back-masking and is on the cover of the Beatle’s Sgt Pepper’s Album…they only included people they admired on that cover).

For a band to become famous sometimes, they need more than just good music. They have a bloodline connection to the elitists or the illuminati or whatever you call them. Maybe someone in kent has this connection to the elitists or freemasons who often practice a religion similar to Satanism. So maybe kent do have some involvement in Satanism. A lot of bands do so don’t rule it out or make fun of it. It’s very subtle. There’s also numerology but I don’t have enough knowledge on the subjects to understand.

The pentagram is a common satanic symbol tbh. I don't think kent are satanic. I think that they're used and symbolism might be put into their work like their album covers or videos by people in music who might be into satanism because kent are popular and reach a large group of youth in a western country.

I still just feel really happy when I listen to Kent, so I don't consider their music satanic, although I really dislike the Töntarna video (but I blame the director, unless the concept came from Kent themselves).

Secondly, if I may hypothesize, perhaps Kent are interested in freemasonry. And I am not really sure if freemasonry is considered satanic. But like what FCKeane said, A LOT of western musicians (prime example being JAY-Z, Kanye West, etc.) are into freemasonry/illuminati or whatever the hell it is called. They always do the freemasonry handshakes and pose in pictures looking retarded making the stupid pyramid sign:

Going back to Kent, I guess it does bother me that a lot of satanic/freemasonry signs are displayed in the Töntarna video (open palm with an eye, pentagram with an eye in the centre, cross with curved top part, etc), regardless of whether it was all coincidence or it was actually intentional... it's there, is what it is. I especially don't like the fact that the director used KIDS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS for the video, as chances are, they have no idea what any of those symbols in the video mean, and would not have objected to being part of the video.

Thankfully, I don't really like this song to begin with, so I just won't watch that video again or listen to that song much. If you like the video and like the song, then that works out for you! Now, if Kent used this video to some of my fav. kent songs (sad/pretty ones like Det Kanske Kommer En Förändring/Välgärningar Och Illdåd/Nålens Öga/Glider, etc.), I would have been upset, but then they didn't.

Theres a lot of real conspiracies in the world. In these cases you can actally find evidence to prove they exist, and you can see a clear motive for their existance. Believing in the theories you bring up is just plain stupid. Im sure you can find small shreds of evidence to support any crazy ass theory if you realy, realy want to.

PS. Yes, Jay-Z grow up in the projects and spent his free time selling crack. Im sure he got where he is today with the help of a secret society of powerful people. I hear they recruit a lot of people in these areas. DS.

Er, you need to stop putting words into people's mouth. I never said Jay-Z got to where he is today because of Freemasonry.

I don't think anyone in this thread has really accused Kent of being satanic. I find some of the evidences that some people have presented here far-fetched (e.g. the CD cover of Geeks showing a devil's face -- I personally don't see it and just consider it black paint on white background). However, we clearly see satanic symbols in their latest video (Aside: if you confuse the pentagram shown in the video as the star of david, I don't know what to tell you). I don't know what their intentions were, and I know that artists freely borrow Christian and anti-Christian symbols purely as an art form (e.g. a Jewish artist painting a cross), but given that there are actually INSANE people out there who wear identical symbols as shown in the video (the really psychotic satan worshipping freakshows), I think the concept of the video is really uncool.
