To fill in a few words regarding the news, for the non swedish fans, Pet Shop Boys wrote one of the songs for the forthcoming album, while Jocke and Martin together with Morten himself wrote two of the songs.

Harket, Tennant, Lowe, Berg and Sköld. This could turn out really great!

So, it's not news from the kent homepage, but I think this is the only place where we've mentioned the Morten Harket collaboration with Jocke & Martin.
I spotted this video over on the swedish bit of the board, and thought some of you might like to see it (thanks to Skisser for sommaren for posting it).

It's a meet & greet that Morten held in Rio de Janeiro, and if you listen closely from 1.40 minutes in, you might hear something familiar, yet different!

Morten Harket releases single

As we told you in October last year, Jocke and Martin have written songs with Morten Harket from the disbanded group A-ha. Now the first single from the forthcoming album ‘Out of my hands’ (released 13th April in Norway) sees the light of day. The single is called ‘Lightning’ and is released on the 9th March. The single is written by Jocke, Martin and Morten.

Summer tour dates are announced.

In April, kent’s highly anticipated 10th studio album “Jag är inte rädd för mörkret" will be released.
This summer Scandinavia’s biggest rock band will go on an extensive tour of Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.
Today the tour dates are announced.

Kent will play amongst other, the Sjöhistoriska (Maritime museum) in Stockholm, Pildammsparken in Malmö and Trädgårdsförening in Gothenburg.
There are also the earlier festivals like Peace and Love in Borlänge and Putte i parken in Karlstad which are released.

Waldersten & Sköld

The exhibition 'Den gansja långa vagen hit' with graphics by Jesper Waldersten and music by Martin Sköld has been extended until 1st May 2012. Now these men have crafted together a little video which tells just that.

If you have not been to Grafikens hus in Mariedfred, now you have a little extra time to do so.

Today kent have added 3 more tour dates to their summer tour. This is the last 3 dates to be added to the tour, they are:

18th July- Karlshamn (tickets released next week)

Adrian Lux feat. Joakim Berg

Adrain Lux is a skilled Swedish DJ who has a new song out. What is so special about it, is that it has our own Jocke Berg on vocals.
The song is called 'All I ever wanted' and you can listen on soundcloud.

Anyone any good with eygptology? I wonder if the image at the top of the Jag är inte rädd för mörkret cover depicts light or sunlight.

Preorder the new CD, CD digipack or vinyl

Now you can pre-order new album "Jag är inte rädd för mörkret" which is released on April 25. It is available in three verisions, standard CD, digipack CD and vinyl LP.

It is also possible to order the single 999 which will be released on March 28. It is a maxi CD and vinyl 7 ".

PREMIER: The new single 999 live version

Now it is finally time!

In Novemeber the previous year kent went to Studios la Fabriqua i Saint Rémy de Provence to record their tenth album 'Jag är inte rädd för mörkret'.

The first taste from the album is the single '999' which is released right after midnights on itune and tomorrow on Spotify and CDON and others.

Now we can offer a live recorded video.
